Haikona: (Zulu expression: Wow! – Stop that! – Geeze – No-ways : Most often used with a vast range of emotions from shock, anger, happiness, disbelief, amazement, endearment and many others depending on how it is expressed at the time. This kinda sums up my sentiments with working on the web.)

Haikona.com is the beta version of a directory type of tool which uses a bunch of meta crawling and web services. The tool enables anyone to rapidly see the kind of power their website or blog has on the Internet from a number of different perspectives.

More advanced users add their sites dossier and domain reports to their digg, reddit, facebook or stumbleupon accounts as bookmarks to compliment their sites natural link popularity within the services we list in the dossier pages. (HTML codes can be found on each page.)

Over the past few years haikona.com has been mostly dormant with little love and attention shown to it primarily due to the fact that I was just too busy on other projects. A few weeks ago I began spending some time hacking away at the template, fixed a few bugs, and asked a developer friend for a bit of assistance and the site is looking and functioning a whole lot better

We call it Internet sunshine.
